Michael Spiegel is Head of Trade Finance and Cash Management Corporates (TFCMC), in the Global Transaction Banking Division (GTB) of Deutsche Bank.

He has held several senior positions at Deutsche Bank, including Head of Trade Finance and Cash Management Corporates EMEA (excluding Germany). From 2005 to 2007 he was based in New York as Head of Trade Finance and Cash Management Corporates, Americas, and was instrumental in the region’s expansion into new products and strengthening of the infrastructure.

Before joining GTB, Mr Spiegel served as a Global Relationship Manager where he co-headed the Global Banking Division’s Relationship Management consumer team.

From 1999 to 2002, while based in Hong Kong, he was in charge of developing business with subsidiaries of Deutsche Bank’s multinational clients across Asia.

Previous to that, over a five year period, he helped establish the Bank’s branch in Vietnam. He began his professional career in Deutsche Bank’s Credit Risk Management Group in 1987.

He holds a BA in Banking from the Bank Academy in Frankfurt, Germany.
