Lisa Robins is a managing director at Deutsche Bank and the Head of Global Transaction Banking, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Ms. Robins is responsible for the bank’s commercial banking activities including cash management, trade finance, securities and trust services in Asia Pacific. In Jan 2016, she was appointed as Vice Chair of Corporate & Investment Bank for Asia Pacific.

Ms. Robins international career spans over 30 years working across Europe, United States and Asia. Before joining Deutsche Bank, she was managing director, vice chairman for Treasury and Security Services for J.P. Morgan China. Prior to that, she ran a subsidiary of the Louis Dreyfus Corporation in Beijing that focused on consulting and trading. She co-founded a non-profit organization CHIFRASIE in Paris that focused on providing seminars and training on doing business in China (1987-89).

In 2014, she was awarded ‘Transaction Banker of the Year Award’ by The Asset’s Triple A awards and also by The Asian Banker in 2013. In 2014, she was named in Hall of Fame - Legend by the Global Custodian Magazine. In 2011, Finance Asia ranked Ms Robins as one of Top 20 Women in Finance.

Ms. Robins is currently on the Board of Deutsche Bank (China) Co, Ltd. Before moving to Singapore, she was a member to the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce (2010-2011) in China (Beijing). She also sits on the board of a Singapore-based non-profit arts organization OH! and on Thomson Reuters Customer Advisory board in Singapore.

Ms. Robins is an active proponent of developing women & diversity. She has been the co-chair of Deutsche Bank’s Women in Asian Business conference in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She is the head of Diversity & Inclusion for Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank.

Ms. Robins holds a Master of Arts from Stanford University, and graduated with honours in Asian Studies from Tufts University. She also studied Mandarin at Taiwan Normal University and Taipei Daily Language News School. She speaks Mandarin and French. Her interests include Indian and Chinese art, photography and drawing. Ms. Robins and her husband live in Singapore.
