Main responsibilities are to track legislation and key market initiatives impacting GTB and to determine positioning that assists clients in navigating the current regulatory environment.
Angus Fletcher took up the role of global head of Market Advocacy within Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank in April 2012. Prior to that, he headed up Collateral Management and Valuations Change Initiatives when he joined Deutsche Bank in mid-2010. Angus has also worked at SWIFT as head of post-trade securities strategy for almost two years, focusing on Market Infrastructures, Post Trade Matching and Collateral Management initiatives. Before that, Angus spent five years at Morgan Stanley within operations and seven years with Citigroup in operations and treasury functions.
Angus fills a number of influential roles on committees and boards relating to the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, the British Bankers Association, Central Securities Depositories Regulation, the Bankers Association for Finance & Trade, and the Information Systems Security Association..
